September is gone, and with it the ' Expandi Amateur Valpolicella leaves behind a beautiful month of intense physical training, athletics and technology. It was also concluded the cycle of pre-season friendlies, which were used to baste the best coaches for the team, and for our athletes to regain confidence with the pace of play. Besides the previously described friendly with the West Verona, played at a pace quite low, because of the heat and the large volume of work that still weighed on the legs of athletes, were carried out three more friendlies. The first saw
Giallorossi clash with the Bulls team of neroverde Lagaria Rugby , training Rovereto, born just a couple of years ago, but continued growth, and showed significant progress from last season. The match, however, has highlighted a good superiority of the beloved: the three times of 25 'that are played, the first was a little "running" with the team trying to gradually refine the automatic, though he to mark with a goal Corso Giulio 11th. The most beautiful time but it was certainly the second, where the Bulls have concocted a better offensive rhythm, with immediate support, to allow the backs giallorossi to leverage off the space so as to score three more goals with Giulio Corso, with Antonio Cortina and Thomas Molon, respectively the 8th, the 15th and the 19th. The third saw emerge a bit of tiredness in his legs yet try as athletes, so as conspicuously to depress the pace of the game, and allow opponents to get back into the match with a goal and a marker. Despite all of our athletes have not got caught pants down, and controlled the match without too many worries, going to mark another pretty place with Dan Bano, served as a spectacular pad Lorenzo Valli.
The second game was played next week with our brothers of Santamargherita Rugby Valpolicella, the formation of much higher level than ours. Despite everything, however, the team has held up pretty well for a time, trying to adjust to the pace of the game very very high, and also going to mark two goals: an absolutely spectacular, picking up a fast beat Marck from 22, and crossing the whole field, with excellent off-load and support, that allowed Antonio Cortina mark of a good goal. The second, equally beautiful and has scored Salzani Nicholas, in "borrowing" temporary first team, with a 40 mt of out on the line, breaking two tackles and gliding in flag. So, despite the obviously many goals conceded, for the Bulls was a good test, especially to try to raise the pace of the game, and keep up high standards, and also to coach the defense.
The third and last friendly match was played Saturday afternoon against the "cousins" of Scaligera Rugby Verona, and was the decisive test to test and refine the mechanisms of the team, with a view imminiente onset in the league. The game saw the Amateurs Valpolicella control the match with a firm hand, taking the field with the fray, and taking advantage of the greater technical trocar giallorossi, who went to mark five times: the goals were scored by Antonio Cortina (two, metaman of the preseason with 4 signatures!), Roberto Avesani, Andrea Casiraghi, and Thomas Molon. The Bulls have however given a score of their opponents, who went from 35th to mark the first time, on the development more of a rolling maul from a touche game, our defense is not the best.
Ultimately then, the pre-season friendlies have highlighted what has always been the distinguishing feature of this team, or the propensity to play off and the hand, always trying to exploit the bucking of the trocar giallorossi.
Forza Tori!
