Il clima sembra proprio essere quello giusto: i giocatori sono elettrizzati all'idea di ricominciare a calcare il campo, ed i coach sembra stiano preparando un'ottima accoglienza per tutti loro, fatta di sudore, test fisici, duro lavoro, come per ogni squadra che si rispetti.
I nostri Tori però si sottoporranno alle "torture" del confermato duo Bresciani-Carraro, con l'entusiasmo e la grande voglia di fare bene che da sempre contraddistinguono questa squadra.
Ovviamente gli allenamenti (che saranno quindi martedì-giovedì-venerdì) saranno aperti a chiunque voglia provare il rugby!!

Un pò di news estive, che giungono a noi in questa calda estate, dove pur mancando partite e campionati, i nostri Tori non stanno solo a pancia all'aria sotto l'ombrellone. L'avventura ha coinvolto Andrea Bampa, Andrea Casiraghi,Alessandro Chignola,Francesco Montresor e Luca Magrulli per gli Amatori, a cui si sono aggiunti Michele Bianchi e John Laryea dalla Prima Squadra, Eugenio Trecate e Denny Russo, giocatori non più in Valpolicella, ma da sempre due giallorossi DOC, con anche la partecipazione di Simone Carraro, figlio di Mirco, proveniente dall'Under 18. La prova dei nostri è stata a dir poco esaltante: nonostante fosse il primo beach rugby a cui si partecipava, i nostri si sono dimostrati un vero schiacciasassi, andando a vincere tutte le partite del sabato, tranne una, classicandosi al sesto posto globale (su venti) del tabellone, a quattro decimi di punto dal quinto. La cavalcata non si è fermata alla domenica, dove i nostri hanno ripetuto le grandi prestazioni del giorno, fermandosi solo ai quarti, sconfitti dalla squadra che sarebbe stata poi vincitrice del torneo. Complimenti vivissimi a tutti loro!

La settimana scorsa invece, si è svolto sul campo da beach del Centro Sportivo di Fumane, il Primo torneo di Beach Touch , organizzato dall'ex valpo Mattia Filipinos, with the support of TRI (Touch Rugby Italy).
